In August 2014, Marjan Television Network took over the lease for the next 15 years at Wimbledon Studios. The studios, which are famous for popular television shows including The Bill and Hospital, are now home to Persian language channel Manoto 1, which has relocated from Capital Studios in Wandsworth.

Two film sets have been remodelled by fit out contractor Modus Workspace to create two new TV studios. The new space also features a back-of-house editing studio and offices with a 22 rack comms room.

The studio was acknowledged as being underpowered without the new studio equipment, so GBD developed a load profile and produced Stage 1 and Stage 2 electrical designs for the building services and power supply.

Marjan started broadcasting from the new studios on 1st February 2015, making this a fast-track project with a 20 week programme.
