Project Profile
Hornton Court is a red brick Edwardian Building that has been converted into luxury apartments. It is situated within the affluent area of Kensington close to Hyde Park.
Green Building Design has designed 12 renovated flats within this block over a period of over three years.
The renovation of the apartments included the refurbishment of single apartments and the amalgamation of two apartments into one larger space. With the internal areas reconfigured, new heating, air conditioning, ventilation, electrics, lighting and drainage were installed.
The energy efficiency of the building was improved while also maintaining the external appearance of the property.
The building also underwent a complete update of the common parts and installation of a new lift system to one wing with minimal disruption to the occupiers.
