Project Profile
At Green Building Design (GBD), we have a wide range of mechanical and electrical services experience working on historic and listed buildings. We have worked closely with a number of specialist heritage architects for the National Trust, private clients, non-publically funded museums and family trusts.
We provide energy efficient design solutions, following a conservation approach within historic and listed buildings. We fully understand the importance of working in collaboration with the heritage architect to make sure that interventions are kept to a minimum.
Individual members of our team have worked on high profile restoration and conservation projects, which include the refurbishment of The Treasury Building in Whitehall and the installation of conservation environmental temperature and humidity control and lighting design at Churchill’s Cabinet War Rooms.
