Project Profile
At Green Building Design (GBD) we have a wide range of Mechanical & Electrical services’ experience working on data centres. We have worked closely with numerous data centre owners, developers and operators on green and brown field design projects, energy efficiency projects and plant replacement in live data centres. We have also carried out several data centre dilapidations surveys and reports.
Recently, we have completed a three year 30 megawatt energy saving project for Vodafone. Reviewing their older data centres, we were able to save energy with free cooling, better controls, new plant, fresh air solutions and PUE reviews. Our work on this project resulted in us winning a National Building Award for Green Sustainability in 2019.
Another recently completed project is a new 15 megawatt module data centre for a sub-contractor: At Green Building Design, we also work as sub-consultants and for large contractors, completing the detailed design, working drawings and selectivity models (discrimination settings on breakers) etc.
