The office building on West Street, Covent Garden, is a Grade II listed 18th century chapel. The building was to be refurbished and restored to produce Category A offices.

Green Building Design worked alongside BSPS to upgrade this building, whilst maintaining the historic fabric, character and charm.

‍Key Features

· New LED lighting controlled by day light dimming and presence detection

· Inefficient boiler system replaced with airsource heat pump air conditioning

· New local mechanical ventilation units with heat recovery installed

· New instantaneous hot water

This project resulted in a significant reduction in the EPC rating from F133 to C55.

Green Building Design have worked with Bidwells on a number of projects on Cambridge Science Park. This project involved the complete refurbishment of the Ground Floor of one wing of this building.

Development of 44,000 ft2 of mixed Shell & Core and Category A office accommodation located within the City of London, arranged over two-and-a-half floors of this new building. The upgrades were undertaken over three separate phased projects.
